For this project a client/server sort of system needed to be created, in order for OPCO's (Operational Companies) to query some financial database. The client needed to plot the ranking of several OPCO's in a specialized way.
The solution consisted of a Java applet on an HTML page, which gave the user access to multiple views (charts) with which he/she could interact (highlight, query, zoom, etc). The data was read over HTTP from a servlet which was hosted by Oracle. Also some security measures were taken to prevent misuse of the (valuable) information.
