Radio 538/VRON BV
The previous website of Radio 538 had problems with respect to availability, scalability, userfriendlyness. The major problem was that it could not handle the load, that was generated by mentioning URL's on the radio.
The new site was written on top of MMBase, with a complete new visual design. The new architecture made the site scalable, available, and also made sure that bursts in the number of hits could be handled.
Another task was to train the Radio 538 Interactive team, such that they could maintain the site themselves.
